About Laura Morelli

I am an art historian writing about everything from Venetian gondolas to Limoges porcelain, Chinese silk, and cowboy boots. I am the author of the award-winning novel, THE GONDOLA MAKER, and the LAURA MORELLI'S AUTHENTIC ARTS travel guide series. I hold a Ph.D. in art history from Yale University and my work has been featured on National Geographic Traveler, USA TODAY, CNN Radio, The Frommers Travel Show, and other media. My art history lessons can be found at TED-Ed.
